Psychological Support Program

Meem manages a psychological support program that caters to the needs of lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning women in Lebanon. We've assembled a team of highly-qualified psychologists for the job. Sessions take place every week at the Womyn House in a private and comfortable counseling room. Services available include counseling, life coaching, couple counseling, and therapy. Meem provides this service for all its members for a nominal fee of 5,000LL. ($3.00).

Counseling Schedule (October - December 2008)

Counseling sessions outside of this schedule are also done through prior appointments. Depending on your counselor's availability, appointments can also be made in the mornings and afternoons.

Booking your Counseling Appointment

We encourage all our members to attend a counseling session with the psychologist of their choice. To book your appointment, email coordinator@meemgroup.org with your preferred time.

Please stick to your appointment once you have made it, or you will be wasting our time and money, in addition to using up a session that could have benefited someone else.

Psychiatric Support

Meem also provides its members with a psychiatric referral program. For appointments, and to benefit from Meem's special reduced visit rates, please email coordinator@meemgroup.org or talk to your counselor.
