Additional
Info
Our group meetings alternate
between General Assemblies, Workshops, Discussion
Groups, and Special Events.
The House is run and managed
entirely by volunteers.
We keep the House address
confidential because we want it to remain a safe and
private center for marginalized women to meet.
The House is composed of a
meeting room, TV room, office, counseling room, and
study room.
We average 65 member visits
per week.
The House has strict
behavioral rules. Photography is not permitted and
smoking is allowed only in the kitchen.
The Womyn House is
officially registered as a Women's Center in the
Ministry and Municipality.
If you
are a lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or
questioning woman in Lebanon or visiting from anywhere
in the world, we'd love to have you over at the Womyn
House. You must first join the group
by going through the screening process. If you're
already part of Meem and have not visited the House yet,
or if you'd like more information,
contact us. |
